The chemical company Jakusz SpaceTech offers specialized services and products for the space industry. We carry out material compatibility tests to determine whether a given material is suitable for contact with a given fuel, which is of great importance for long-term space missions. Material compatibility is checked by immersion tests, where material samples are immersed in the liquid for a specified time, after which the liquid's physicochemical tests and mechanical tests of the material are carried out. In addition, we produce HTP (98% hydrogen peroxide), which can be used as a rocket fuel oxidizer or as a single component rocket propellant. Our qualified personnel designs technological installations and develops technological processes based on our knowledge and available patent literature. We also conduct experimental work in the field of optimization. The pilot apparatus in our laboratory enables us to conduct chemical reactions under special conditions, such as increased and reduced pressure or in an inert gas atmosphere and purify products by vacuum distillation, fractional distillation, extraction or crystallization. We have particular experience in designing installations for the production of highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide and the synthesis of liquid rubbers. We also develop analytical methods and offer consultations in the field of quality control of customers' products. Our experience in projects for the European Space Agency has taught us to find solutions to unusual and non-standard problems. Thanks to the modern, high-class research and measurement equipment of the Jakusz Space Tech laboratory, we offer analyzes of viscosity, density, and total organic carbon or nitrogen content. We deal with the separation of homogeneous mixtures and define their qualitative and quantitative composition. Our laboratory offers an emission spectrometer with inductively coupled plasma excitation, which allows the measurement of trace concentrations of elements, as well as a gel chromatograph for measuring molecular weight. In addition to chemical analyzes, we also conduct experimental research and development works requiring an individual approach, such as synthesis of new chemical substances, testing their physicochemical properties and stability, and optimization of production processes.
